This is a very interesting military history museum. Very educational on the war campaign. With personal stories of people who took part in protecting our country. Very much a worthwhile visit. Staff, volunteers are all very knowledgeable and extremely efficient and friendly.
Great museum I and my two daughters really enjoyed it. Really is a very good collection of aircraft and artifacts, well worth the entry fee. A pity the aerodrome closed quite a famous Battle of Britain forward airfield home of many famous squadrons and one of the first to have jet aircraft 616 sqn and their Meteors.
Military aviation museum. Relaxed and not busy when I went. Based at RAF Tangmere which was a fighter base in WW II. Good range of aircraft and exhibits including a Lightning simulator but you have to book when you arrive.Parking free and small cafe on site.
I had a really good time at the museum. The love the staff have for the aircraft is shown in both the way they talk about them and the way they gleam! The collection of aircraft isn't huge but several are very significant.I had a good lunch in the cafe as well.
Lovely staff but would have liked to have seen inside the aircraft especially the helicopter. The flight simulators were good but you have to find a staff member to use so then you feel a little rushed. Many stories to read. Enjoyed the air raid shelter experience. The site was smaller than expected but cafe very nice.
