Wonderful people working so hard to help and rehabilitate injured wildlife. This is a charity that relies on its dedicated volunteers and donations from generous members of the public.
I have volunteered here before. The staff and volunteers are a credit to the charity. They practice the three Rs (Rescue, Rehabilitate, Release). Brent Lodge also educates the public about wildlife and the threats it faces, especially threats from us. They are always on hand for advice and will take sick, injured, orphaned wildlife on a daily basis. They are a very busy hospital covering a large area.
If you have time to volunteer please do as these guys are amazing. They're always so grateful for help and think of the way you're helping to heal
Fantastic place, know their stuff and nothing is too much hassle. If you need anything looking after then this is the place to call. Staff are great too. Well done!
We've been taking our 11 year old Granddaughter along to Brent Lodge to experience what it's really like to care for sick and injured Wildlife. She's been to 3 sessions now and has really enjoyed it. She's cared for Hedgehogs, Ducklings, and Duck, Pigeons, Tiny Wild Bird Chick's, Fledglings and much more.The Staff and other Volunteers do an amazing job, and have been very supportive and generous in giving their time to encourage her.We hope to return next week with her to do more.
