You can always rely on Zizzi to be consistent, wherever you are.
I like Zizzi, they have a decent enough gluten free menu for my requirements and most dishes Ive tried I have enjoyed. We often go to the Zizzi in Gunwharf Quays and the service is impeccable and there lies the difference between Chichester and Portsmouth. The Chichester staff were fairly inattentive when we went considering it was lunch time and quiet and we were a pre booked table of 8. The food was typical Zizzi standard and no real complaints but the lack of service does make a huge difference to your experience. Id recommend the Portsmouth Zizzi any day but Id be a little more reserved on recommending the Chichester one.
I have very awkward dietary requirements (I'm on a low fodmap diet) the manager made a real effort to ensure that my meal was safe for me. I was made to feel welcome rather than and inconvenience. So nice to be able to go out for dinner and not worry that it might make me unwell.
I only went there for the first time last night and I really liked it. Good atmosphere, good food, good service, what more could you want? I'm pretty sure I'll be going back.
Friendly and efficient staff. Nice decor. Food was ok but nothing special, it lacked flavour. It was also over-priced for the quality, I suspect a good number of customers have vouchers, which appears to already be allowed for in the pricing.Overall, it's reasonable but wouldn't make an effort to return.
