Another top meal at our new family favourite (well 5 out of 6 of us!) unfortunately my daughter was away. My son was visiting this weekend and so we just had to introduce him to RBK! He was *not* dissapointed! The chap serving us (possibly the manager as he was wearing a shirt, not the logo polo shirts as others) was really welcoming, great at giving me gluten-free advice and I find the service here is excellent. Not intrusive, but attentive. The prices are fair and the quality is really good. My lamb koftas were truly delicious. It has a home cooked feel...great ingredients, cooked well, not too fussy, just delicious! We love it at RBK and if it wasn't for my husband and I following Slimming World in 2019, we'd be here all the time. Perhaps keeping it as a treat, keeps it special for us though.
This place has had a bit of a make over, but the main difference in the quality of the burgers. It's gone from being like a sad Wimpy to a proper mighty fine Burger Joint with huge and tasty burgers. Hopefully they will keep developing the menu.
We were in a real rush and were served very quickly, the burgers were great and the steak was cooked perfectly.
Last Saturday we came here for lunch for the first time. The service was good and polite. However after being seated for over 40 minutes before we saw our starter nachos, which were good. My burger came out and was good although the pate was not quite hot, but cooked and warm enough. It must of been left standing for a little too long. Sadly my partners burger had a HAIR right in the middle between the pate and the sauce. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR A HAIR IN YOUR BURGER. She was obviously offered another, and after a further 25 minutes waiting for it obviously I had already finished eating a long time ago. She had kinda lost her appetite wondering whos hair was going to be in it next. The waitress were great but I repeat. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR A HAIR IN YOUR BURGER. Will never go back. Awful. Should of asked for a full refund.
Food was very tasty. Customer service was okay. The waitresses try to avoid eye contact with you though, which is weird.Also, whoever invented ketchup in a glass bottle has a special place reserved for them in hell.
