We went here thinking it was a Marston's pub after looking online for somewhere to eat. The building is lovely, a really cool place to eat/drink. But food available isn't great and staff aren't very knowledgeable of what's going on.
Strange little place. Fantastic building in an old church. Nice venue with spaces around and good bar staff. Some of our group ate and would not recommend. They did not complain so can't say how this would be dealt with. It was cold on the day we were there, being a very tall room. Better in warmer months.
Ive watched this place change names (and I assume hands) and every time I hope the next will be better. Inside is lovely but the service just never matches up. There is often missing food from menus, the staff are always slow and there is often a lack of them behind the bar, the food often takes a long time to come out and isnt really worth waiting for. In the past we have had issues with Gluten free food not being gluten free, complaints that we are ordering cocktails by the bar staff as they take ages to make, coffee orders that have never shown up and food orders that have been so late weve had to wolf down our food to go back to work.They keep trying, they just dont seem to get it right.
We are regulars here now because of the lovely atmosphere and helpful staff. Just spoke to Andy regarding New years and he was incredibly polite and helpful and very informative! Thanks guys
Stopped in for a quick lunch bite whilst in Chichester as we fancied a bit of pub grub.The venue itself is a very cool church with all of the original features. Quirky and cool I really loved it!Small menu but what is on there is quite different and interesting. Lots of good offers available too. The burger was excellent, a proper hand made beef patty that came out cooked perfectly with a little pink in the middle and any where that adds a Mac n cheese burger on top is win!
