Dirty, Expensive, Rude Staff, Terrible facilities, Showers Disgusting, Shop was always bare, NObody knew who was in charge. Awful place to visit, and never again.
Have been coming to Chichester lakes for holidays for 5 years and have had a few second holidays here as well. When we came here last month, for a week, we noticed the staff had changed. Everyone appeared very friendly and welcoming. The site is kept tidy and there are plenty of bins around. Very dog friendly and there are nice walks in the countryside. The people who live in their own caravans are so warm and welcoming. They all seem up for a chat and there appears to be a nice community spirit here. If I won the lottery I would definitely want to live here. The entertainment is loved by my 11 year old daughter and the staff are really good with the kids. The shop and laundry are kept clean and the outdoors swimming pool was well looked after. The food is decently priced and they do takeaway as well.Only problem was the amusement arcade where you were lucky If half the machines were working on one night. There was no change machine for 2ps and the other change machine was unpredictable! Had to go to the bar for change which was a pain as its often busy there. The ticket machine which counts the yellow tickets that the kids win wasnt working for most of our holiday. Really disappointed in the arcade but apart from that this place is amazing!
Had a great relaxing quiet 4 nights stay, LOTS of geese around the site (with accompanying poo) accommodation lovely, lovely large lakeside decking area outside of bar, shop pretty expensive, in all a lovely holiday park. However...... if your going to be fishing like I wanted to, they do NOT tell you anywhere that you have to pay for the privilege AND there's nowhere you can fish from on site!!!!!! You have to either drive or drag all your gear up to one and a half miles away from the holiday park. Spent a whole day with two rods out and not even a bite. Felt a bit cheated about the lack of information up front re the fishing, otherwise recommend for a regular holiday
Charlie (Charlotte) from the kitchen I wanted to say a huge well done to her for her enthusiasm and energy on Friday night and actually alll the other nights at the park. We stayed for a week and I can honestly say she made our stay outstanding with her energetic dance moves and willingness to go the extra mile on the entertainment. Well done Charlie you made our stay great thank you
Very nice and beautiful place to stay. If there weren't so many ducks running around and doing their business everywhere then it'd be perfect. Inside of the caravans is very nice and clean, but the outside is all covered with cobwebs, so something to think about. Also the caravan that we stayed at had loads of cigarette ends by the entrance, so again, something to think about definitely.
