A nice refuge right in the city centre. Quiet and relaxing all year round. Particularly nice in summer when the plants are in bloom. Excellent spot for picnics, lunch breaks or a bit of sun bathing
It's beautiful, It's peaceful and perfect for a little picnic with my toddler. He loves the flowers and bumble bees. They've done such a fantastic job taking care of the garden. The flower display is absolutely beautiful.
It always lovely to walk around and sit in the garden. Visit at different times of year to see the changes. There are great views of the cathedral. Nice walk around the roman walls. Even with the ring road outside the wall it always seems peaceful in here.
Bishop's Palace Gardens is worth visiting all year round, currently nice and autumnal. It is usually nice and quiet and a relaxing place to visit in Chichester. Many people don't seem to realise it is there. Great for picnics or to sit and relax on a bench and get away from the hustle and bustle of Chichester.
Fantastic place, great for kids to run around. And also great to sit on one of the benches and read a good book. Excellent cathedral views, beautiful garden. Perfect place to relax after doing some shopping in town without having to walk miles or drive, due to it's great location.
