I've been riding most of my life and used many different mechanics and/or shops but these guys are now my go to for all my needs (note: I live 20+ miles away from the shop with many bikes shops in between but worth the trip/call to the riders guild). They've been spot on with the advice and allowing me to make my own decisions, not try and sell me something that they have but isnt right (a rare trait I wish more shops had). After working with me, I have now bought my bike through them and its been perfect out of the box and this is a rare feat due to what I have been advised to buy from other shops. The guys there have been first class and a pleasure to deal with looking at me as a rider. Give them a go. I give this rating on experience over the course of many calls and visits including post care... you cannot ask for better service.

Fantastic shop! Definitely my familys favourite bike shop. Thoroughly recommend it. Very friendly and knowledgeable service.

The team did such a brilliant job I couldn't believe it was the same bike. Excellent service- friendly and helpful staff; great communicators sending text/email about what they will do and checking via text/call if you are happy with the work they will do to your bike. Explained everything I was unsure about. Upon collection I got a summary of the repairs and I was more than happy to pay. Highly recommend for bike repairs.

My seat clamp gave up on a ride from Gloucester to Brighton when I was going past these guys. They where brilliant and managed to get one from a donna bike out the back.I was back on the road within 15 mins. Really nice shop, and a great vibe in there. If I lived locally these guys would get my bike parts business.

Be warned - I used to shop here a lot but a year ago they lost me for good. It shows because a yr later I still feel strongly to write a review. I have even emailed complaints but they have not even got back to me.We took our bikes in for a quote for a service and on first impression they couldnt of been more helpful making lots of suggestions and nothings to much bother and things were added to a list for now or later to get looked at but we decided not to go ahead as there wasnt much time to try out our bikes after fix before we left for our bike tour and thought wed get it done on our return. When we collected bikes we were hit with a 70 charge. My husband didnt even have a card on him to pay and they wouldnt release our bikes until paid for. They said it was a charge for quoting!! To be honest in my 43 years I have never been charged for someone to look at my bike nor would I dream of doing so to one of my clients. I understand there is work in getting a quote together but thats just part and parcel of winning the work. When we queried it we were told price is on website. Alan said Im sorry, we did not look at your website, why would I, I live just around the corner and no one said when we walked in or when we said wed collect But it all makes sense now and I understand why nothing was too much bother and the sales guy kept making suggestions to add to what could be done. To be honest I wouldnt of had a problem if someone had just said when we took the bikes in If you decide not to get the service done theres a 35 charge per bike to quote its my choice then to leave them or not - we paid because we felt held to ransom. Whats more the guy that originally served us was there, he didnt pipe up just repeated it says on the website!. The experience has left us with a bad taste and I warn people I chat to about this and will never set foot inside again.
