We booked 1 night in this lovely little hotel, as we were going to the theatre, which is just a few minutes walk away. Although we live only an hour's drive away, we thought we'd treat ourselves And what a treat it was! The hotel is conveniently situated in the centre of Chichester, with (free to guests) parking at the back. Despite its location, we found it to be quite peaceful. We were very pleasantly surprised to discover, on our arrival, that we had been given an upgraded room. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly, and thoughtfully catered to my vegan needs at breakfast. We would definitely recomnend this hotel.

Booked myself in for a short break and wanted a massage and spa facillities. Was perfect. Beth did my treatment which was very relaxing as was the spa itself. My room was amazing and the staff were really freindly and welcoming. I will be going back.

Stayed here last minute for a night and have to say the hotel is really lovely. Reception and restaurant staff are really friendly and attentive and the food is really good. I'd recommend the double stack burger with bone marrow pattie. My room with breakfast cost 105 for the night which I think was reasonable given the quality of the hotel. There are a few issues that you need to be aware of. My room was on the third floor at the top of the stairs next to the elevator. The elevator itself is quite old and really noisy, you will definitely get woken up if anyone uses it during the night. The was a large gap between the door and the door frame in my room, this let a lot of the landing light into the room. The walls between rooms are really thin meaning you will hear your neighbours conversations and the floor boards are really squeaky, I guess this is because the hotel is quite old. Even given these issues I'd still recommend this hotel as a good place to stay, it feels quite upmarket and is tastefully decorated, the staff are what makes it for me though.
